The Many Within Her

In the dynamic landscape of Contemporary Art, the narratives surrounding womanhood are as multifaceted as the women who shape them.

For centuries, the female experience has been confined to narrow interpretations, often dictated by patriarchal ideals. Yet, today, a new paradigm is emerging - one that celebrates complexity, embraces vulnerability, and demands agency. ‘The Many Within Her’, launched during International Women's Month, highlights the relevance of this evolving dialogue.

Themes ranging from connection, identity, and intimacy to power dynamics, cultural expectations, trauma, and sex, are articulated through the international voices of Mia Chaplin, Jenya Datsko, Síomha Harrington, Emily Ponsonby, and Weijue Wang. Each artist in this exhibition brings a distinct perspective, creating a tapestry of works that interrogate, challenge, and reimagine what it means to be a woman today.
