The symbolism of the moon references natural and elemental, as well as wild and uncontrollable forces.

Updated in 2022, with new understanding of the climate emergency facing us all, Absher has morphed the figure from a wounded woman, to a woman in the process of healing a few years into the future, demonstrating hopes for a healed earth. The Nymph depicted is an ephemeral energy that exists outside of time and nature, constantly shape shifting: a permanent stage of metamorphosis.
