"Cousins is a moment, a split second with the viewer looking at two women. One catches the viewers eye the and one is looking away. I always try to capture brief fleeting moments that in real life would disappear in a second." Sahara Longe
Sahara Longe is a British artist based in Suffolk. Longe studied at Charles Cecil Studios in Florence for four years before moving to Freetown, Sierra Leone and setting up a studio. Longe’s work varies from depictions of ordinary moments in life to large scale mythological paintings, drawing her inspirations from Rubens, Velasquez and Gauguin.

A fleeting glance, captured with such a precision is trademark Sahara. Her work feels like a warm introduction into the heart and life of the subject. A hello, and a welcome. I am thrilled to showcase this stunning portrait."
