Future Fair 2025: New York City, United States

Chelsea Industrial, 7 - 10 May 2025

We are thrilled to announce our participation in Future Fair New York 2025, taking place from 7th to 10th May at Chelsea Industrial, 538 W 28th Street, New York City. Celebrating its 5th anniversary, Future Fair has established itself as a dynamic platform fostering growth for small business art galleries and the artists they represent.

We will be showcasing works by two exceptional artists: Jess Cochrane and Christabel Blackburn.

London-based Australian artist Jess Cochrane creates figurative oil paintings that capture everyday scenes, focusing on familiar gatherings and the objects we accumulate. Her art weaves themes of consumerism, pop culture, and fashion, drawing on shared memories and recent history. In her recent exhibition, 'It Won't Last Forever' (12th-28th September 2024), Cochrane presented works inspired by a trip to Marrakech, Morocco, portraying quiet, fleeting moments that reveal beauty and wonder.

Christabel Blackburn, also based in London, is a painter who conjures atmospheric scenes highlighting the interplay between people and spaces. Utilising a sensitively reduced visual language, she distils the modern world and our interaction with it into quiet, concentrated scenes. Her figures often appear absorbed in their own worlds, navigating streets formed of intersecting flat planes or engaging with art in colour-drenched galleries. In her solo exhibition, 'Another Day of Sun' (2nd July-2nd August 2024), Blackburn explored these themes, offering viewers a contemplative experience.

We invite you to visit our booth at Future Fair New York 2025 to experience the compelling works of Jess Cochrane and Christabel Blackburn. Join us in celebrating contemporary art and the vibrant community that supports it.
